Answer: Most black people have enough natural sun protection to not get sunburned for hours and more melanin, just like southern Asians. Many just tend to get darker if exposed to the sun long. I wear sun screen and especially if its 40 It won't even look like I was in the sun in the first place. I never have gotten sunburned. About sun tan lotion ,if they want to be darker than that's ok to use it. Most of the time I don't find people that have naturally tanned skin to dark trying to get tans lmao.
Answer: I've only been burned once and that was in Hawaii. It was just my shoulders and although they were sore and red, they didn't ever
Peel. Other than that, no. I’ve also lived in Texas in the summertime and I would only tan.
I don't use sun tan lotion…nowadays I use a lotion that has SPF in it but I don't see the need to make myself tan any quicker than I naturally would.
Answer: It depends on their skin tone ie: how dark they’re. For example, I used to work on a lot of golf courses and we had multiple Dominicans working at every one. They would go out so covered up you would think they were nuts with the 98degree heat. The reason they would give when asked why is tanning related. They would state they didn’t want to get any darker because they didn’t want people to think they were black (they wouldn’t waste money on sunscreen when they could just wear free long sleeve shirts, pants, boots, and one of those Lawrence of Arabia hats with the cloth that hangs down from behind to cover the neck). Quite frankly if I saw one of them walking down the street without knowing him I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference based on looks alone. But apparently they think that they have the ability to get darker.
Answer: Yes black people can get sun burned. My sister burns easily but her skin tone is much lighter than mine. Black people also wear suntan lotion and those that don't should. We all need protection from the sun. It doesn't matter the color of the skin, we’re all suseptible to the sun's harmful rays.
Answer: Yes of course! They produce melanin just like the rest of us and over exposure of the sun can cause a sun burn. The ting is, its harder to take notice of any rosiness (any redness is a form of sun damage if it lasts for more then 12 hours).
They should absolutely wear SPF outdoors.
Answer: Well im sure whether they put sun lotion on varies from person to person

they have the ability to still get skin cancer from being over exposed to UV rays.
and they have the ability to definitely tan so yeah! It's less likely theyll burn because the colour of their skin provides more natural protection from the sun.
Answer: I'm 15 and I've never gotten burnt in my life. I do think that black people can get sunburned, but it's really rare because we'd have to stay in the sun 5 times longer than white people to get burned. I put suntan lotion on.
Answer: the chances of it happening are very low since black people have more dark pigment in their skin which can't burn, which is why really pale people do burn, because they don't have any dark pigment =]
Answer: you can get burned but it's differnt for each person. getting tan is getting darker.
Answer: Yes, and Yes!
