K so i want to get: Love, Hope and Faith going down my neck and onto my spine starting right where the collar of a tshirt is. But i am wondering can i put a symbol in between each character to separate the words? cause i know if u just put them together it can make a new sentance that could mean something absolutely different. I saw a girl do it on LA ink and that whats i want to do. So anyone know???

I'm not sure, and if you're not, you should take the phrase you want to a professor of Chinese, or a native Chinese speaker. I've got 100 hours of tattoos, and I can't count how many people get kanji and other asian characters tattooed. I knew a girl that was a native Japanese speaker, and took her to a tattoo shop. She was amazed that only about 20% of the tattoos meant what they were supposed to. Go with something else, something ORIGINAL, then you won't just be copying off of a crappy tv show.
