I got my lip pierced at the bottom this day.

At the moment I'm just cleaning it with salt water.

But is there anything better to use?

No. Do NOT use anything else! Saline solution (ie salt water) is the ideal thing to use. Make sure you boil the water first and then let it cool before using!!

I have a labret also. After I brushed my teeth, I gargled with Listerine (the yellow one) mixed with water. Then after I washed my hands…I applied a little mild antiseptic soap to a Q-tip swab and cleaned the outside of all the crustation (which was very little), then wet another one with just water and finished cleaning. I did that twice a day until it healed. Mine has healed beautifully.

I’ve mine done too.

When i got it done for the first week or so i just cleaned it with a cotton bud dipped in warm salty water.

Mine isnt infected so must of worked :)

Salt water is just as good as the products that places like boots will most likely rip you off for. My friend got hers done and salt water is all she used and it was fine.
