Does lower cartilage hurt more than upper or it feels the same?
How come when you watch some one else get there ear pierced it looks painful but if you get it done you feel nothing?

Answer:
I’ve had many piercings (17) and without a doubt my lower cartilage piercing was the most painful.

Getting a piercing has never hurt as bad as I thought it would. I think it's because of all the adrenaline in your body when you go to get a piercing. :)

Answer:
well the upper cartilage might hurt a tiny bit more but that depends from person to person. That's because the upper cartilage is harder than the lower cartilage.
If you look at someone get their ear pierced of course it would look painful because you are looking at it and it you might think “ouch that hurts” (xD) and when you get it done you won't feel because you can't see whats happening.

Answer:
Lower Cartilage usually hurts more than upper cartilage. The whole part inside your ear (where you usually get rook piercings and such) also hurts more than upper cartilage, but none of them injured as much as you imagine they would. You don't necessarily feel NO pain, but it isn’t unbearable at all.

Answer:
I was going to get a cartilage piercing but my cousin told me it injured more than her belly button (navel)piercing.

And it really hurt when i got my belly button pierced.
