I'm thinking of getting an eyebrow piercing for my sixteenth birthday which is in less than a month and I'm wandering if this is a very risky piercing. I already have seven piercings in my ears and the left side of my nose. I did have my tongue and belly button but I took those out. I've heard that when getting an eyebrow piercing it is possible to hit a nerve and cause the eyebrow to droop or paralyze your face, is this true? I've also heard that all eyebrow piercings eventually migrate themselves absolutely out. Advice would be greatly appreciated. But please don't answer if you're going to be rude or ignorant. Thanks.

Answer:
No, it's not going to paralyze you, but yes, rejection or migration is possible (one of mine rejected, it sucked & wasn’t pleasant).

Answer:
No I don't think that's true.

One of my friends is a total idiot and did it himself and nothing bad happened to him.

Get it done by a professional, though. Don't do it yourself.

Answer:
I guess its possible to hit a nerve, but that's why you should have a professional piercer to do it for you. I’ve had mine for 6 yrs now and they haven't migrated at all. In my opinion, there are way more risky piercings than an eyebrow.
