well, theirs no such thing as not spending a lot of money with a dermatologist, but some aren't as costly you will be spending quiet a few hundreds of dollars, i know the economy isn't that great , maybe try some recommended skin products see what works.

There is no way. If you want a skin check, some derm will do for free. Check derm. assn website or local ama, ada sites to see if there is someone who will do a screening for free or some kind of “skin test month”
