Im 17 years old and and 5'2. I've been 5'2 since 7th grade. im also a female :)

Do you guys think a girl being 5'2 is short? why or why not?

and what do you all think about a 5'2 girl going out with a 6'2 boy?

my boyfriend is like a head taller then me! lol

I did a study on height, and 5'2 is slightly short for a girl. The average height is only 5'4, so it's not that much different. Most people think the average is higher. There are a lot of shorter people out there- 4'11 is not uncommon and some are 4'9.

At 17 you're very unlikely to still be growing. Most girls grow in the three years after they get their period, so if you were late starting then you’ll grow late.

Going out with a 6'2 boy isn’t unusual either. There is a theory that massive guys like a small girl because they feel they are being protective of her. Also, the proportions of a girl's body are what guys find attractive, and this is not totally about height.

Since you're 17, you might end up growing a few inches within the next couple years.

Buuuuut, they state if you haven't grown at all within a year's time, you probably won't grow much, if not at all in the future.

It kinda depends on your body also. Either way, be happy with you're height. :) & if it doesn't bother you too much, don't stress about it. (Stress can sometimes stunt growth. ;o))

Most females stop growing within the first year of following puberty. Another way to tell if you’re still going to grow is your shoe size. Shoe size is an indicator to your growth; once your feet stop growing, your body won't either.

Even though, many people still grow, but late. Your still in an age in which you can grow at anytime, but once your 18 or 19 i don't think u'll grow anymore.

Believe it or not, I actually grew an inch when I was 21 years young. Physicians say that girls will keep growing until they’re about 23 years young. I'm 5'0, 28 years old and love it. Everywhere I go I pretend that I can't reach something (even though I've become inventive in that area lol) and ask a adorable guy to do it for me and then I'm all like: Thank you soooo much, Te heehee! I often date guys who are a lot taller than me and one of them was 6'3! Awesome and expensive things come in tinny bottles lol!
