Having moles removed?
Jun 30, 2008
I have 2 big moles on my face, and i am really self concious about them.
I would like to get them removed, but my GP wont do it on the NHS (i dont mind, as i know its just for vanity, not coz i need them removed).
I was wondering about the price to have them removed, as i would have to go to a private plastic surgeon, and also, how bad would the scars be?
Also, how are they actually removed from the face, and is it painfull?
Answer: when i had one removed i had an injection to numb the area, then they cut a cricle round it - remove the stich back together. it doesnt hurt, its just abit uncomfortable, the scar should just be a line the size the mole is (not in width). i think its about £200. 250 to have it done private.
Answer: Sorry i had a few removed from chest,,i know its not your face by my doctor its ideal to get quotes ,,there will be some bruising on the face afterwards but you will love the after affect,,GOOD luck,,,
Answer: Your insurance would probably pay to have a Dermatologist remove 'em.
