i stretched my ears to a 00 gauge 2 weeks ago and i noticed that discharge was coming out.
its clear and then it gets all crusty around the o rings.
in my other stretching process i never had discharge. Also it's very itchy!
has anybody had discharge??? if so, how long does it last??
could it be cus i tored my ear before that it's still not healed completely and discharge might be coming out through the cuts?
how should i clean it and how often?
what should i NOT do?

Answer:
A clear discharge is not a big deal — it's happened to my ears several times during the stretching process. Your body creates this to help the healing. The crusties occur when it dries.
I'd say leave the jewelry in (be sure it is stainless steel or glass or something non-porous — no acrylic or wood) and clean them twice a day. I've used an antibacterial soap — you can use a Q-tip to get it in there. Also, using a salt-water soak by taking warm water, adding soap and place it into a glass and then place the glass over the ear and lean over. It can be messy and it's annoying, but it works.

If you take out the jewelry, it won't heal any faster (and actually could take longer as it exposes it to germs in the air) and your ear will shrink down. Don't use anything harsh like alcohol or peroxide. And keep dirty hands away from them!

Answer:
Don’t use peroxide that’ll kill all the new cells trying to grow back if you did cut or tear something, neosporin is a must have in my home it helps with everything
