Ok, my tattoo is on my right shoulder blade (facing the middle of my back). It is very similar to this fairy because I based it off of this fairy. It doesn't have the striped stockings on and it doesn't have anything in the background (such as the plant/flower or the little troll thing) The wings are also different. They’re bright teal and yellow. So I have been thinking I want to add on to this tattoo and make the fairy standing inside a flower. I was thinking water lily or regular lily (stargazer also happens to be my favorite flower - white with bright pink centers). The lily is my daughter's birth flower as well. So what do you think about that part? I have also been thinking I might want to add bubbles and put my daughter's first name in one of them. What do you think?

the fairy is really adorable! I like the idea of the fairy standing inside the lily, and i like the idea of the bubbles, but i dont think both would look good together. i think its a bit too much. plus, you really dont need her name in the bubbles if you do decide to get both because the flower itself represents the two of you. ultimately its your decision. best wishes!

I like the lily flower idea it is very cute and i love the fact that that's your daughters flower. I also really like the bubble idea if the fair is in the same pose then i would go with the bubble idea with either her name or initials, i wouldn't do both i think if you do the flower and bubbles then it will be a tiny too much for my taste. Anyways… Yeah, that probably would be kind of a large bubble, maybe you could do her initials? Or is there a special nickname that you call her (something more personal than “sweety”)?

I think your ideal bet would be to speak about your idea to a good tattoo artist, they would probably give you the ideal advice, or maybe think of other good ideas that fit into the whole fairy/flower idea.
