but would that be a bad idea to get them done at the same time? and does it hurt a lot to get your cartilage… i got my belly button pierced already so idk if it hurts worse or less
Answer: I got my second holes and my upper cartilage done at the same time. Piercings in the upper cartilage hurt a little bit more because its tougher cartridge, however, your second holes have nearly no pain right after being pierced. I slept on them fine with my cartilage done and there was no discomfort.
Answer: I wouldn't suggest getting them done at the same time because you're going to want to sleep on the side that doesn't have a fresh cartilage piercing (those injured wicked bad to sleep on for the first month or two!), and having fresh second holes will make that side uncomfortable as well. It's doable, sure, but not the best idea if you want sleep.
Personally, I barely even felt it. I felt a tiny poke as he aligned the needle to the spot he was piercing, but I didn't feel the piercing itself. It injured /significantly/ less than the belly button piercing.
Ideal of luck.
Answer: Doesn't hurt as bad as the belly button. It hurts though and it takes a long time to heal. Make sure you are careful about laying on the cartilage side when you sleep at night, cause that makes it more sore. Its really simple for the cartilage to get infected for some reason. Make sure you keep it clean and don't mess with it too much. I had my done a few times. It always drove me crazy and was sore and I'd end up taking it out after a while Just stick it out until it heals, but dont be surprised when it is not healing as fast as the other piercings.
Answer: Piercing pain wise cartilage doesn't injured anymore than any other piercing UNTIL afterwards. Cartilage is avascular meaning it doesn't have it's own blood supply which means that it heals very very slowly. If the peircings are on the same side then go for it. I got my tragus done then two weeks later got my rook pierced on the other side… The rook is VERY painful afterwards and well I'm an idiot for doing them on opposite sides too close together. 2 weeks isn’t long enough to heal.
Plus I toss and turn in my sleep a lot which has caused my rook to injured a whole lot!
Answer: Cartilage- Doesn't injured a lot. i got it done with a needle. It's over in 2 seconds. If you get this, DON'T SLEEP ON IT! I made that mistake, i hit it and it's swollllen!
I wouldn't get them at the same time.
Answer: i got them all done at the same time and its not bad at all. you just cant sleep on your cartlidge side for a long time. its been almost 8 weeks and i still cant sleep on it.
Answer: i got them done at the same time, the cartilage hurts like a b**** though. it hurt more then my nose, but i didn't mind the pain. it's just annoying if the two get infected at the same time.
Answer: i have both done and the second holes don't hurt at all but the cartlidge does….it hurts to sleep on it, but i goes away in a month or 2.
Answer: less then your belly button and do both if you want them both
