I don't WANT it to heal,

but I play soccer & i'd like to take it out for my games.

I've had it pierced for 10 months now, and i believe it's jsut about fully healed because I can change it and it's fine.

How long can I leave it out without it closing?

If you REALLY wanna take it out, I would say don't do it much longer than the length of the game. Maybe take it out right before and put it back in once you're back at home, maybe after you shower. My belly healed up QUICK when I took it out, so I don't reccomend doing that. You've had it a while though…so maybe yours will be okay. Superior safe than sorry though! After your 1 year mark, you should def. be safe from the healing, unless you go weeks without it!

Since you've had it done for nearly a year, it's completely healed. It takes about 6 months for it to heal. It won't close up if you just take it out for a game. But to be on the safe side, make sure you take it out right before, and put it back directly after. I got mine done when I was 18 (4 years ago) and was working a retail job at the time. I used to take it out while I was at work b/c sometimes it would show through the shirt, and it looked funny. But that was also when I had it done for about a year.

your prob fine for the time of soccer, i played hockey and rugby wiht mine in, put a barbelll in and put a bandaid over it and you can leave it in if you want.

Put some tape over it or purchase a plug - don't take it out! After having mine for three years it closed up in 30 minutes - and getting it repierced hurts really really bad cause it has to go through scar tissue!

It depends..you just have to take it out right before the games…It does close up…I don't think belly button piercings don't always heal all the way…it will always be sensitive.

I state don't take it out period. Some people a piercing can close up faster than others. Just get a bioplast jewlery or something small that won't snag.
