I got mine pierced about two days ago , I've been using the ear piercing care solution they told me I could purchase to clean it. Now the top of part of my ear, the cartilage area mainly is pink/red and swelling a bit around my industrial . The industrial doesn't really hurt unless I jab at it ( I can't really explain the motion that well). But apparently the swelling might have gone to a portion of my face , close to the ear/jar -ish area. But my lobes are fine, is this a sign of an infection ?

Answer:
Signs of infection are excessive redness spreading beyond the piercing area, hot to the touch, and yellow/green puss usually with an odor.

Some redness, swelling, crusties, and white discharge are normal signs that you'll probably come across. It's not infected.

But I'd start doing sea salt soaks rather than using the solution stuff. 1/4th of a teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt to 8oz of hot water, twice a day for ten minutes each soak. Don't move the jewelry around at all.

Answer:
Thats what happened to mine. Dont mess with it and in 2 months take the earing out and clean it without the earing in but put it in righ after your done cleaning it. It probablly is an infection.
