I shave myself every day, and I'm wondering is this partially the reason that I get a rash on my face? Does shaving this much irritate the skin? Should it maybe be once each two days?

Only serious answers please. Thanks

Answer:
Shaving every day used to make my face extremely sore - especially around the neck. But I'd read shaving's good for the skin as it exfoliates it, so I carried on.

After a while I thought, “Stuff this!” So I cut down to each other day. The soreness and discomfort went immediately!

This was 20-odd years ago, when I was a teenager. And I’ve NEVER shaved each single day since. And never will.

Each other day is fine in my experience. (In fact, I don't mind being stubbly so it's more like once or twice a week for me now!)

So, if your skin is anything like mine, my advice would be to cut day to every two days, and rub in some soothing after-shave balm once you've completed - and see how it goes.

I shave myself everyday too. I’ve to for work. A lot of the times in heat or if i sweat a lot, I can break out in a rash. If you ask me, shaving everyday isn't good. But most of the times I dont get a rash. Try an electric shaver, I've found that helps. The first few weeks you will get a rash, but once you've learned how to use it, and your face gets used to it, it'll stop. If you dont want to do that, try switching out cream/razor. I've personnally found mach3 razors are the ideal. Be sure to change it out every couple of days too. Just keep trying till you find the setup that works. And make sure to keep the same thing going for a couple of weeks until you judge it, cuz your face needs time to adapt.

Answer:
Yes, it can be harsh on the skin… most women apply lotion to their legs after shaving to make sure the skin stays healthy. If you just use water to shave or an electric razor, you should apply some sort of aftershave… or perhaps a fragrance-free lotion.

Answer:
shaving can cause a rash, shaving everyday doesn't ,try shaving in just cool tap water put a small amount in the wash basin wet the area and shave repeat the action till you've completed,no need to add any soaps or lotions and after shave

Answer:
maybe ur shaving in the work direction, shave in the direction of which the hair grows and moisterize ur skin afterwards. use very warm water to soften ur facial hair.

Answer:
wet or dry

wet is closer but takes of skin

dry not so close so you can shave twice a day if needed

but I would advise a face cream after every shave

if you did it every couple of days instead the hair wouldnt grow back so fast!

hope i helped =]

Answer:
well, you should probably shave once each 2 days cause it hurts ur skin and can do a tiny bit of damage to ur skin! if ur not sure still, ask ur guardian, or go on google.com!
