My pinky nail just came off. I broke my pinky toe in 2005 and now it just came off

Answer:
It depends on your diet. If you’ve a (this might not be true) high calcium and high iron diet, your nails grow faster. God knows mine do. I have to take calcium and iron pills daily, and my nails grow like claws.

Toenails always grow slower because they take more abuse than fingernails do, you can add in some nail hardener and vitamin to your nail polish when you paint.

I hope this is what you’re wanting to know.. it is very interesting… You must be more careful in the future .. I no that hurts… OUCH!!!!!!

Nails grow at an average rate of 3 millimeters a month. [1] Fingernails require 3 to 6 months to regrow absolutely, and toenails require 12 to 18 months. Even though it is widely believed that toenails don’t grow back, this is not true. Actual growth rate is dependent upon age, gender, season, exercise level, diet, and hereditary factors. Contrary to popular belief, nails don’t continue to grow after death; the skin dehydrates and tightens, making the nails (and hair) appear to grow.

You need to eat lots of protein..

good luck….

Answer:
the same thing happened to me !!

it takes a few months to fully grow back in.

But since your pinky is the smallest toe, it wont take as long.

heres a tip i learned though from a friend…

paint all your nails with a dark color, and just

paint the skin of the pinky toe, and people

will never notice! i know its weird, but it works.
