I’ve 3 tattoos. I just got the 3rd on last friday. My other tattoos have itch the way this new one has. It itches really bad like a insect bit. Help! Any sugesstions or comment would be helpful. Thank you

Answer:
Yes it is completely normal for it to itch. It could just be the spot it is in or the type of ink or needle used. Do not scratch it though if you do it could cause it get infected and you could pick off the color. Keep it moisturized with A&D or something similar and pat it to itch.

Answer:
Yep. My first tattoo itched like mad. Infact, I did scratch it and it has lighter spots in it than it should because of that. I would put a bandage or something over it all the time until it is under control. To this day it still gets itches and if I was to scratch it, one of the stars tend to actually pop out. It's weird -.-

Answer:
yes it is i just got mine retouched and it is much itcher then when i fisrt got it done but anyway. But an unscented lotion on it (if its cold it feels so much superior.) and if you lightly swat it like you would a bug it helps to. Don't worry the itching will stop soon. And the tattoo is so worth it.

Answer:
yes it's just the broken skin scabbing over and healing. DO NOT SCRATCH. You just have to get a good lotion that doesn't have any added scents or anything, a friend of mine used Aveeno with oatmeal lotion on hers and it still looks great.

Answer:
Yes, it's just scabbing over. If it gets really bad, you could slap it (without rubbing it) or scratch the skin around it. It helps relieve the itch a tiny.

just make sure you're not slapping yourself in public.
