I personally love tattoos and currently only have 2 but I'm planning on getting more.

I know a lot of people don't agree with tattoo's and as just wondering what everyone's honest thoughts about them are?

I honestly, don't really understand why people don't like them apart from the fact that they'll be on your body till you croak it.

Theres still some negative views on tattoos despite how many people have them now adays. They have the ability to range anywhere from “theyre tacky”, “Gang related”, or ” They age gross” whatever . These are views, nothing more. We all know its possible to look tacky, be gang related, and age gross (wtf)……without the help of tattoos so whats the huge deal? Hate them or love them, theyre not going away soooo lets find a way to function in this world together without all the mindless discrimination bs.

They have the ability to be cool and many of them are, but a lot of the ones people get are freakin' unsightly and ill-planned.

My sister has sleeves and a necklace, and a few of the things she got on her arms are horrid.

I dated a girl who was all into bodymod and same deal… some of those tattoos were really just an unsightly mark on a beautiful woman.

I think they are okay,i have one of a fairy and she's has dragonfly's coming out of her hand(each dragonfly represents a love one that has passed),it's on my lower stomach(pelvic area).I think some people are old fashion,that's why they don't like them.everyone should be entitled to their own creative Identity

my parents are from an age that only trash such as prisoners or military men had tattoos. society has eased up but you still have people who judge. my parents hate mine but respect the fact that i am an adult. i also respect them that i have put mine in a place that’s not in their faces. i also feel that your tats should portray your story, not just band wagon tats. one thing that gets me is when someone gets a tat just because some celeb has it. tell your own story. make it fit you! mine do.

i love them. i think that they're beautiful works of art and i cant wait to get mine done. i just cant stand when ppl have tattoos that its pretty obvious tha they’ve no meaning behind them.

but i can comprehend the ppl dont like them because they stay with you forever, but hey, i think its worth it.

for me, tattos should mean something important or a memory of someone or something.

band tattoos are SO stupid

sure, you think your going to love them forever, a year later and your regretting that tattoo. i like them for the most part but other times their just stupid.

I think tattoos on women are sexy! I knew a girl that had a half sleeve and it was incredibly sexy on her. The more the better. As you can obviously tell, I love them.
