i got it pierced about 2 days ago, and when i cleaned it a couple minutes ago i noticed a whiteish colored substance on the bar, is that normal? It was a very very tiny bit. It was professionally done, so i know the needles and everything were sterilized. It barely hurts at all, there's little to no swelling, and i've been cleaning it like i should. So, what's the deal?

Answer:
The white stuff you speak about is called Lymph, it's perfectly normal with new piercings- in fact everyone gets it. it subsides after around two weeks though. Don't worry, lymph isnt perilous and it isnt uncommon!

Answer:
that is lymph.

it is a substance that contains white blood cells.

it comes out because it is a sign that it is healing, and that your taking care of it.

when it dries , it forms crusties around the piercing.

if it at anytime turns green or yellow, then you should worry.

just keep cleaning it and youll be fine.

:)

Answer:
It's just discharge. It's totally okay. If the discharge

turns green, you know your piercing is troubled.
