Okay, so I've decided to go ahead and get my ears double-pierced, now I realize there's a whole bunch of questions. (Obviously though, I'm a bit of perfectionist and some of these are probably just me panicking about it a bit) ^_^

How do you make sure they're spaced far enough apart? Did you wear an earring to the piercing and have them guage it from that? Should you wear an earring at all?

Should you wait out the 6 weeks to change the piercing earrings before you wear anything dangly in the lower holes? So the top would have time to heal?

If I can't clean it 3 times a day (my class schedule means I'd have to skip it on Tues and Thurs) would two times be okay?

And if I'm getting it done at claires…do you like claire's or Icing by claire's?

I think that's all of my ridiculous worries…advice is appreciated!

Answer:
After the piercer puts the purple dots on your ears they should have you look at them in a mirror and approve them before they go ahead and pierce them. If you don't like where the dots are, just state so and they should wipe them off and put them where you want them. The normal spacing between the holes is about 3/8 of an inch. I would wear small stud earrings that you can easily remove and replace if the piercer wants you to remove them while your second holes are being pierced.

You need to wear the piercing studs in your new holes for six weeks until those holes heal, but you can wear anything you want in your first holes.

Although they suggest cleaning your ears three times a day, if you can only do it twice on Tuesdays and Thursdays that should still be OK. Just be sure to clean them three times on the days that you can.

What matters is the person who is piercing your ears rather than the store where they are doing it. Try to arrive at the store when you can watch them piercing someone else. If you like the way they do it, fine. If you don't like the way they do it, go to another store.

I would wear small studs in your first holes to have it done, and so long as the spacing is equal on both sides it shouldn't look odd. When you’ve your ears pierced double I would avoid wearing any heavy earrings in your bottom holes to avoid strain. Cleaning the piercing 2 times a day should be fine, so long as you don't stress the piercing by playing with it a lot. I had mine done at Claire's and it was fine.

=D

Answer:
If you go to Claires/Icing they will almost definitely not be even, they are trained by a 15 min video. Go to a piercing place, they will measure it and such. Wear just studs for about 2 months and then, assuming you take good care of them, you should be able to wear whatever you want (within rreason!) Google piercing guns for more info

Answer:
Get it done by a needle, safer.

Answer:
wear studs to the place
they’ll judge according the those and its not that hard
in ur first hole you can wear watever and u shudnt not change the second hole for about 6-8 weeks unless you’re going to clean it and put it back in.
make sure u twist the new piercings every day so they dont get stuck
the first hole has nothing to do with the second one healing
you shouldnt have to clean it more than once a day, i only cleaned mine about each other day and it was fine
i hate claires so i wouldnt advocate it. i had my physician do it becuz i know they are safe =)
hope i helped
