im thinking of getting an epilator does anyone recomend them, if they’re any good wots the ideal one to go for?

I have a braun and its incredible its a brand you can trust as well! I started off with a cheap £20 philips one though and that too did a great job! I wouldn't recommend any other hair removal !!!!! Epilating is the ideal way to de spike your legs!! It leaves them smoother for SO much longer and you can make sure you get all the hairs where as if you get waxed at a Beauty salon they don't always do a thorough job! When the hairs do grow back they’re much softer as well!! However it does hurt but the results are so good its worth it! Also I would still advocate getting your 'down below' waxed, I’ve never used an epilator down there as I cant even start to envision the agony it would cause!! he he

They work well, but they hurt, especially at first. You get used to it though. They work like lots of little tweasers ripping your hair out at once.

To be honest I'd suggest waxing as it hurts the same but you quickly rip it off instead of slowly and painfully!

Braun are a good make, and they work really well but the main thing is the pain. Once you've worked up the guts to do it once, though, it gets easier, and as someone else mentioned you can get ones with ice packs to soothe the skin.

Epilators are good but they injured so badly. The first time you use a epilator it will hurt a lot and your skin will go red. But if you can get used to them then epilators are really good. The hair doesn't grow back as quickly - usually it grows back in about a week. You should only really use them on your arms underarms and legs.

Wouldn't go back to using anything else. Initially it stings but you soon get used to it. I bought a Braun one with a gel pack that you can put in the fridge to keep cold - it does help.

NO!!

Epilators literally rip the hair out…slowly. They injured A LOT. At least with wax, you can rip quickly..but epilators are like a slow, painful death.

They work well but god do they injured. I used to epilate my arms and when I did certain parts it could bring me to tears. Not really worth the pain!!
