for outside tanning- whats a good tanning lotion/oil that also has SPF in it.——- I’ve gone to the tanning bed before plenty of times but i am trying to cease going becuase i want to save my skin . and if i am going to be in the sun i would prefer it me the real sun.

Answer:
u think the outdoor sun is better then a tanning bed ur wrong. If anything its more likely you’ll burn outside in an uncontrolled unmoderated environement where the UV spectrum is outta this world where in a tanning bed is controlled. But i wont get into it with you.

Oil doesnt help you tan. It only penetrates to the top layer of alreayd dead skin redarkening it, not allowing the UV rays to penetrate underneath. The result? after a shower your tan is gone and u caused some nice damage to your skin by suffocating it with oils.

Mositure in the skin is needed to tan in order for the UV rays to absorb INTO the skin, dry skin deflects the light (like a mirror) causing it to burn.

Tanning in moderation is extremely healthy for your entire body and each organ in it, its over exposure and burning that causes the damage so make sure you dont do that!!

In order to get a rich deep dark tan you need to exfoliate and shower before hand. Remove the dead skin and then moisturize. Have fun!
