On my dad's side of the family they all have tattoos even the girls.
Okay my parents said when I was 18 i could get mine. What I want to do is get a henna tattoo of what I want and where I want it and where it for a month or so see how I enjoy it and if I like the placement of it and if I do when It fades away I will go to the tattoo place and get it done for real Do you think this is a good Idea? Also what should I get?
Answer: I did the same thing, which was very helpful since my tattoo is a henna inspired design.
I love mine, and the henna gave me a really good idea of what i was going to get.

Answer: I think trying it out in henna first is a great idea, that way you can figure out how simple it is to cover it up, see how it looks on your body and with your clothes, etc. As for what you should get, that's really something that you should think of yourself. I don't know you, so I don't know what kinds of things you like or what you are like. If you're going for something pretty and ordinary, then flowers, roses, stars, hearts, music notes, birds, etc could work.
If you want it to be more one-of-a-kind, and actually mean something to you (which i recommend) then try to figure out something that symbolizes you… a quote, an object, etc.
Don't get a tattoo just cause it's a “family tradition”. Make sure it's something you really want, and think thoroughly about which tattoo to get.
Answer: The henna idea is a good one so you can get used to the idea and placement, as to what you should get that’s a private matter, you should get something that is important to you or something you really like not just something because it is cool, those are the ones you regret in a few years
