Whenever I shave under my arms the hair grows back very swiftly and I always get razor burn and it's extremely painful. My friend always gets her underarms waxed and I was thinking about waxing them my own(with a kit from the drug store). I also heard that your armpits don't really smell if you wax them. The only thing that I’ve ever got waxed is my eyebrows. My eyes usually tear up but I don't find it to be too painful and I never have a reaction to it. Is waxing under your arms very painful? I really want to try it myself. I am very good at these type of beauty things. Please help me! thanks so much!

OMG it is sooooo much more painful than getting your eyebrows done. Also, I highly advocate getting it done professionally instead of at home. I tried it at home once and for one those kits don't do almost as nice of a job. It ends up taking you so much longer to try to get everything just right, leaving you in pain that much longer.

I would get it done professionally. It is a hard area to reach. If you do wax yourself, dust with baby powder first so sweat doesn't mess up the wax.
