I'm 43, and am having break outs, along with visible pores and also some dry patches. Any ladies out there with this problem? What are some good products to try?

Answer:
I’m not in my 40s, but in my 30s and my dear friend is an aesthetician. She likes Murad products, and I tell you, I’ve never been disappointed ever by them. They are pricey (I spend about 100 dollars on the products-and that's even with my friend's discount). I would state that for 150$ you can get a cleanser, serum, moisturizer and maybe an extra treatment for those visible pores and dry patches. I would advocate treating the breakouts and visible pores with their vitamin C products or their acne products, then using cheap cetaphil lotion for those dry patches. And the cetaphil that's for the body, not the face one-it may be too light. Other than that, you could get a prescription for Tretinoin/retin A. It combats acne, pores, sun damage as well as wrinkles. It will make your skin very dry, so I always use a heavy non-anti wrinkle moisturizer with it. I like Mary Kay's regular moisturizer with no anti aging properties in it so it doesn't doubly fry my skin like using the Murad with the retin A. I would choose one or the other (the Murad route or the retin a route). That said, remember to chose cleansing and moisturizing products that treat the acne and pores first, then to the dry spots add a very, very rich extra moisturizer. Good luck! I'm skin obsessed, so I'm pretty sure my suggestions will work.
Oh, and if you don't selected the retin A route, make sure to get a microderm abrasion twice a month-professionally, not the ones at the store-my aunt does it and her skin looks great. She's 54 and looks 40. Few wrinkles, no breakouts, dewey skin.

Answer:
First if you are having breakouts that means two things, you may have oily skin, and the makeup you may be using is clogging your pores.

I use for my oily skin Coonobabe Pepino cleanser followed up by Manzanillo toner. Pat dry your face, no rubbing. http://www.coonobabe.com/cleansers.html

If you use foundation I suggest you use their Savila base foundation for your skin. http://www.coonobabe.com/face.html
For skincare products I recommend two types:
Extreme Eye Rescue: for the eyes. http://www.isabellapelle.com/eyewrinklec…
Follow up with Preve extreme anti aging. http://www.isabellapelle.com/antiagingcr…
ok hope this helps…plus both of these companies ship 4 free anywhere in the world.

Answer:
You need to see a dermatologist to see what’s right for YOU! Everybody has different skin types. If you’re concerned about money, Tell the dermatologist so and they will help you find a price that is reasonable.
