and im gettin a tattoo on the 4th of july…. sound i just get someone else who works there to do it or go some place else?
Answer: First off, scrap the appointment and if you had to put down a deposit, get it back. That way you aren't feeling pressured.
I've had this happen - twice. The second time my husband had made the appointment for me - the artwork had already been drawn up previously. This was my Mother's Day gift. I didn't find out until the day of and went in. The guy had just left the day before. I was not only out an artist I really liked, but the artwork he’d already drawn up (at least I hadn't paid for that).
The owner recommended another artist in the shop, gave me something to take with me that showed his artwork, and told me to let them know.
I didn't like his work at all. Not my style. So the whole thing has been put on hold until I can take the time to go around to different shops and find someone I like.
It's not worth rushing into something. Yeah, it's a lot of work to find a new artist, but worth it in the end, since it will be on your body for the duration.
Answer: “I'm planning on becomming a dead and hard of hearing instructor.”
……….WOW
why isn't waiting an option?
if you've done the research and trust one artist, why settle for another?
I suppose you'll have to find a new artist……how would we know if the ideal one for you is at that shop or another?
Answer: You can go to another shop and don't limit yourself to places that are in your area. You’ll have it forever so make sure the artist is the ideal in your thought. I drive 11 hours my tattoos and wouldn't risk going to a stranger who I didn’t trust.
Answer: Either way would work. If you trust the place where you have been before, then you can have someone else do it. If you're not sure, ask to see profiles of what they’ve done in the past, how long they have been tattooing, etc…
Answer: WOOOOOW … chillax no need for the stressing you’re doing calm down. look for a tattoo artist that’s respected dont just pick someone to do it by a certain date you’ve the rest of your life even if you put it of for a month.
Answer: o my god, this kerbert guy is such a loser…hes like the fat kid on the playground..hahahaha very appropriate picture two…o my god, look kerbert!i spelt a word wrong!r u gonna write back with the correction?fu, ckin idiot.ignore his pathetic answers.i think he irritates the sh .it out of everyone
Answer: Ask the artist for the names and numbers of people they’ve done work on and use the people as a reference for them. Word of mouth is the best advertisement out their.
Answer: Look through the other artist's portfolios and see if you like any of their work. If you don't, look around until you find a shop that has an artist that you like.
Good luck!
Answer: There is too many things that can go wrong, if you don't know the person then don't do it. Infections are no fun.
Answer: ask the guy you trusted who is ideal! someone in another shop or someone from his old shop! if so who? good luck!
Answer: search for local places– watch how they work, how people respond ask around. thats what i am doing now
